More opportunities for what? Everyone, male or female, has different opportunities in different areas of their life. A guy may have an opportunity to play football in school that a girl may not have, but the girl may have the opportunity to develop a lifelong friendship that the football player doesn't have.
The key, and the difficulty, is recognizing opportunites and taking advantage of them. Also, other than certain professional athletic pursuits, there is almost no opportunity available (in developed Western countries) to a guy that isn't available to a girl.
Obviously, if you live in a developing nation or a society that has strict rules about male/female behavior, there may be limitations of opportunity. Opportunity is still there, however, although it might require leaving your home and moving to a new country to ultimately fulfill your goals. |
