Most guys don't, but I guess the ones that do just don't know any better. There IS this one chick I like that has a bit of makeup on her eyes all the time, but she is so cute looking and she's oriental and exotic looking, the makeup accents her specialness, but it's just in that one area I like it like that. |

define "lots" because really guys like girls who have natural looking faces with some eyeliner and mascara. just enough to cover flaws and bring out the best features. maybe you should learn how to use makeup and maybe you'd find that it isn't so bad. But cakiness is never cool. |

Biology explains it with the principle of "hyperstiumualtion". An easy example: Most birds will show preference to a larger egg over a smaller one. This preference likely evolved because larger eggs are generally healthier and a better investment of the parent's time. But, there is no reason for an upper limit to evolve; because in nature, the bird is always presented with its own eggs. As a result, you can trick a bird with a soccer ball that's a hundred times larger than it's own egg, and it will roost on that in preference to real eggs!
When a woman is sexually aroused, extra blood flows to her labia, which in nature would signal to the man readiness for intercourse. This is what lipstick does: it mimicks sexually receptive labia; and that's why it turns guys on. But remember the bird. Us men have a natural instinct that says "more red = more ready for sex", but, like the size of the egg, evolution has given us no reason to see a limit. So bigger and brighter are seen by many men as more attractive.
Of course none of this is conscious on the man's part, or the woman's for that matter. And a lot of what we find attractive is culturally mediated. Still, this is the likely source of how lipstick, at least, came to be seen as sexy. |

Just like there are guys that like girls who don't weaar any makeup at all there is guys that like girls who wear a lot of makeup but I think that is not true for most situations guys like girls that use only a little bit of makeup, or at natural |

actually some guys hate it when girls wear a lot of makeup because the girl must think shes ugly or is ugly. Some guys would want the girl to have there natural beauty not a mask over their face. |

It depends on the guy. Some guys like having a female that looks like a harlot. Make-up to me is a mask that females hide behind. (I am female) I wear make-up only on special occasions and when I am feeling down. Or depending on age, it may make the girl seem older. I don't wear make up for other people. The only one you should wear make-up for is yourself. Don't let others tell you what you should or shouldn't wear. |

Hmmm...actually I read a survey that guys prefer girls that DO NOT wear makeup. I find this hard to believe, and I think that guys only like girls who do LOOK as if they are wearing makeup. In other words, girls who look naturally beautiful. In fact I overhear guys taking all the time about girls with "racoon eyes" and how nasty that is. Too much makeup is often a sign of sexual promiscuity (in other words you are loose or easy)and guys with bad motives always flock to that. So, don't wear a lot of makeup if you want to attract the right kind of guy. Be kind and yourself and the guys worth having will flock to you. |
