Why do i find it diff. to stay on a job for long?
i graduated about 10yrs ago with a degree in the social sciences. i have taught in a school, worked in an oil company and a bank but in each case, i get fed up after about a year and resign. And it has nothing to do with the wage which was always good. Now i'm on my way out of a telecomm firm.why do i always feel unfulfilled with these jobs?

I feel you. I am the same way. Most of the time its because I learn the position and get bored. Then I move on to the next challenge. In my mind, there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing this. You are getting all you can out of an employer and building up your resume. One thing that I know is that in the corporate world, your expendable. You could be the best worker in the world, enjoy what you do everyday, and be canned tomorrow because the co. didn't make the profits they thought they would. Your best bet is to continue to move on until you really find your calling or open your onwn business so you are your own boss.

You sound like my friend Matt. Jobs are not supposed to be fun. Most people don't like their jobs. Most people would rather stay at home, or be out doing other things. What his problem is (and maybe you can relate), is that he has this idea in his head of what a good job is like, and no real job out there can live up to those expectations. Also, some people just don't like to be supervised. They feel like they know more than their boss, and that they could do a much better job than them (and most times, they're probably right). But employment is a type of relationship, which requires sacrifice. You have to be willing to put up with all the things you don't like, and actively try to make them better. You will encounter resistance along the way. But persistence will be met with reward in the long run. Good luck!

Because after you have learned everythihg you dont feel challenged no more and thats when you start to strive and look for another challenge. I think you need to find a job where you are challeneged everyday with something new.

It is obviously not what you want. You have to find what your true passion for work is and get to it.You seem to be a quite interesting person just because you like change so much. You are looking for something and you can't find it.I admire that!I wish I could change things up a bit once in awhile.I am so repetitve with everything and I am teaching my girls the same behavior. So dig deep within yourself and find out what it is you REALLY want to do with life and follow that. You may just be a person who needs change.

You just said your problem. "Wage is always good" . Your job should have nothing to do with money. Find something that fulfills you as a person not your bank account. People now are so greedy and consumed with the fact that money is their "savior" their shoulder to lean on. It is just materialistic. Find a job that really interests you. If it's teaching dance, cooking, becoming a teacher, psychologist whatever it is do it. Money should never be an option to you. When you reach the end of your life money is not something you take , you take your soul.

i'm glad to be able to answere from my own experience. i have the same issue. what seems to be happening is that you hate routine, and once it becomes routine, you get out, and you're prob. not happy with yourself generally. i could give you temporary advice, to take job at mortgage company, which takes lots of time to be trained and it won't get so boring that quickly.

Chikana24/7
Have you ever though about the fact that you might not be in the field that you want to be? Maybe it's not the jobs, maybe it's you that you have to deal with first.
