Because people ask generic questions only applicable in their localtion, it's not that it is forbidden or something.. just keep in mind the whole world is reading and answering so explain the question well. |

I personally don't believe people need to keep their questions in a global focus.
The purpose of this site, to me, is to ask questions in the hopes that there are people who know the answer. So to ask people to refrain from asking localized questions, would be like asking people to not ask about science, or about entertainment, or any other subject.
It's all the same. People ask questions, and the people who have an answer will reply. So if someone wants to know where the best place for a pizza is in Houston, TX then they should be able to ask on the off chance some one on this site knows. |

Thanks. I asked a question yesterday about Best Holidays...I'm from the UK. Only to find out majority of answers were about holidays like xmas, thanks giving etc.
In the UK holiday means vacation..like visiting countries.
So I was surprised that people didn't answer that. Must be a british phrase. |
