Why are people punk, religious, or shy? Goth is just another attribute of a person, it's part of their personality. It's the way they see the world and react to it. Admittedly, most of the teenagers you see that look goth aren't, just like the suburban white kids that try and be gangsters aren't. Goths are just people, most of which are nice, intelligent, spiritual individuals. |

They have no real meaninful purpose in their life... No God! Not responsible to anyone but themselves. Look at the difference between those who believe in God and live their lives accordingly, and then look at those who don't. The truth should be rather obvious, even to rebels, (who won't admit it). |

The clothes are cool, the people are understanding, the music is awesome, you like drawing, you like writing, you have dark humor, goths are usually one of the only ones still up at 2am, you take interest in topics society doesn't exactly appreciate, your friends are goth, you're creative, or a bunch of other stuff. |
