Some people just don't get it! I guess they were never taught respect for anything. I think sometimes people don't realize the power of "words". They may think they are writing something really clever, and funny, when actually what they write can be very offensive or hurt-full to the person asking the question. I don't understand why some people feel the need to just answer "any" question regardless if they have an educated answer, or not. The entire Yahoo Answers thing was set up to help people find solutions to their problems, not as a "playground" I'm not saying that all answers should be cut, and dry. Humor always has it's place, as long as it lends it's self to a quality answer. |

It's because some people are mean. Instead of thinking about an answer and trying to be helpful, for some reason it feels better to them to be sarcastic and rude. It's easy to do from the anonymity of your computer. On the other hand, when someone decides to ask, "How should I pick my nose?", well, then, any sort of answer is fair game. |

Yeah, it happens to us all. People want votes, but don't want to provide sane or usable answers. Some want attention and to start fights. Those people I ignore b/c they think you will respond, and when you don't, they find other people to harrass. Ignore 'em.... |
