You answered your own question. Wouldn't it be great if nobody told lies? We would be able to count on what was said. We'd get used to hearning the truth, even if it wasn't always pleasant. |

I Think it's cuz there afraid if they tell the truth the person their lying to will hate them.So they lie.Now I would rather have some one tell me the truth,cuz even thou it might hurt the other person at least you can say you told the truth would they feel better if you lied.I don't think so. Maybe that why they say a lie gets you into trouble,but that the truth hurts. |

people lie because they think the outcome will be better than telling the truth. However you'll need more lies to cover up for the lies and in the end it becomes a huge burden to tell lies.
