Some things are pretty bottom-of-the-barrel, but no one is forced to shop there. 80% of Wal-Mart's merchandise is the same you get anywhere else, but cheaper.

I shop at Walmart cause for the most part its cheaper. But never do I buy clothes or shoes there. I work hard for my money and if I can pay less for something so be it. Makes logical sense to me.

Because stuff is cheap there...it isn't all that bad. You can get the same quality food for less. I think Walmart is the place to go if u don't have a lot of money.

In my area... They are cheap, convenient and have killed most of the competition.
For the record, I avoid them as much as possible. I pay a little more sometimes, and it often requires going to more than one store, but the quality of the products I get are often better. And I am supporting the local economy, not some exec in a plush corner office four states away.

Wal-Mart is not cheesy. It's easy! You can get toothpaste etc. and still pick up hot food for dinner.
