A lot of people in smaller towns say that they don't have a choice because Wal-Mart came into town with much lower prices (due to use of cheap foreign labor) and muscled all of the other stores out of the town. |

Those people ought to be thankful,they can go to Walmart,and find just about anything their looking for,and only pay 1/4 of the price. Most other stores,such as "Target",have the same things,but you pay for the Target name,and the price. |

I live in NJ where Target has better deals and clothes compared to walmart. My boyfriend lives in VA, where his Walmart rocks!!! they sell everything at great prices, the only downer,they also sell guns!!
Walmart doesn't offer their employees health benefits, which i think SUCKS!!! but they do offer employment to a lot of mentally challenged people which ROCKS!! Everyone needs health benefits. |

Because of Walmart alot of smaller businesses closed.Leaving walmart the only store to shop at. it left a lot of people with a bad tast in their mouths, however I live in topeka ks and walmart is the only game in town except for k mart who is expencive anyway. |

Because they own the freaking world, there aren't very many options (at least in some places) other than wal-mart or paying an arm and a leg for what you want. |

it is because they can't afford to buy some place else and have to get what they want from WALMART .
it has to do with social standing and acceptance .
eg: " Oh darling i paid 25 hundred for thid bag it is impossible to get it any cheaper", and you actualy get it fo 2.99 at "walmart" that is why they talk "|!@#$%^t about walmart. |
