What may seem like a "silly" question to you, may not be to them. A lot of people want "others" opinions or views, and sometimes they just need a quick answer or maybe they don't have time to research on the net. Although I will agree there are some rather "ugly" questions and "rude" questions posted from time to time, but what is that quote? "The only dumb question is the one that is not asked". |

It's not a matter of stupidity. I look at some of these questions and I think that people are just being funny or wanting attention, some people just don't know and are curious, some people just like the easy answers (to the homework questions) some people just may not know how to do a proper internet search. It really depends, I will throw out silly questions just to give people points. :) |

It is important to think before you speak and e-mail or on a site like this.
I dont enjoy being sarcastic or sassy to people and I dont like when it is done to me. You are right some of the answers are silly myabe people are looking for attention.

Part of it is maybe they want answers, but it's also interaction with other people, that makes it fun. Finding info on the web is fine, but it doesn't give contact with others, or give points.This way can get facts, opinions, and comments. :) It's a good way to 'kill time' also! |
