Because humans are weird and have a mean streak. But truth is, no one can really help laughing, sometimes the way a person goes down is just too funny. We are not laughing at the injury (if there is one) just the way it happened! |

Leftovever reaction from childhood. Like smacking your lips after yawning. (A young baby usually falls asleep after bottle/breastfeeding, so that automatic smacking of the lips, from enjoying their milk gets paired with the action of sleepiness or falling asleep). Later in life yawn...smack-smack. |

because it doesn't seem natural for people to fall down. we are surprised at the hilarity of it all but we get over it as soon as we realize that the person might be in pain or serious physical injury. otherwise, it's just funny, we can't help it. |

most of the time you cant help laughing if it is a funny fall where the person is not harmed, and they themselves are laughing, or even just a bit of a laugh , tho u dont mean to.
I dont really laugh at other ppl falling coz im accident prone and i laugh at myself, most of the time it ends in pain, but it damn funny but thats me hurting myself. i guess its just some people will react one way and others another to different situations |
