well to get the exact truth to this question is not going to come from here but i can give my honest opinion which has to to with alot of things. at first, they might have kept it a secret for the intentions of protecting us since they probably didnt know how to handle it themselves. but as time went on the reasons im sure changed to hide the things that they know the american public would not be content with(agreements and treaties with the aliens, technology, allowing the aliens to abduct human in exchange for technology, etc.). also there are things happening today that are a result or are related to subjects like this, such as the push for the NWO-New world Order. |

I'm not sure I believe the government has had contact with aliens, so that would be one reason they wouldn't tell us. If there was contact, the reason they wouldn't tell us would be religion. Any civilization that could cross the galaxies to visit us, would probably be more advanced than us, and their beliefs would probably turn the major religions on their collective heads, and maybe either render them baseless. |
