You find money on the floor, some people give it to security, don't you know you just tipped the security gaurd? I do secrity, if someone said the found somw money and gave it to me, I would keep it. Don't you people know this? |

No I didn't know that. Would you still keep it if someone came up to you and said they had lost the money? More than likely though, if I find unmarked money, I will just keep it. The most I have ever found was a hundred dollar bill in a Six Flags parking lot. |

I think people give it to the security guard because they were taught that the person who lost it will go there to retrieve
it from him/her. Like you I don't have enough confidence that the security guard will put it aside for some one to retrieve it. So when I find money on the floor I pick it up and give it to a charity. that charity maybe be a family I know could use the money to buy the necessities. |

Some people feel it's the moral thing to do, they don't have to worry about what the gaurd does with the money, as long as they did the right thing. With so many wrong things in this world today, I like to see people do unselfish/moral things like that. |

I know it isn't mine and feel a responsibility to do my part to find the owner. Yes, I understand that there are dishonest people in the world. No, I wouldn't feel better keeping it knowing that someone else might take it on its way to the true owner. |
