I am going to try to answer your question the best I can, since my mother in law is a very large woman and has struggled with diets. Some larger people are happy with their curves. Some struggle because their stressed and stress can cause over eating. My mother in law has problems dieting, because she is just hungry because her stomach (not the stomach we see of skin) but the actual stomach is twice as large as mine, so yeah, she has to eat more to feel full. I have watched large women cry because they are hungry while dieting. Not only that, what makes you think that every larger person in this world wants to be a size 2? I get told by my husband's family that I look sick all the time, because I am so much smaller than them. I watched my husband put on a couple extra pounds and they thought he looks healthy now. Not all larger people want to diet. It is all an opinion to themselves, and if you do not like it, then the best thing I can say, is don't look. That was not intended to sound rude.

Not all heavy people are that way by choice. After reading all of these answers I noticed no one mentions thyroid dysfunction and other medical problems that cause obesity. Don't be so critical, my point is some people cannot help it.

not all fat people are fat because they eat. some are fat because they have problems with their body that they don't control. and sometimes they are just tired of dieting for others when they are happy with themselves.
