I agree with '16' above. Bush wants Iraq in the U.S. pocket in order to secure good future supplies of olive oil. We need more bases close to the olive producing countries like Greece and Italy. |

Whatever the real reasons are for entering there in the first place, now he is caught between a rock and a hard place. If the US presence stays, they face the same issues of security that they do now as well as the bottomless pit of funding. Now if they leave, it will look like they went in, got rid of Saddam and left the innocent Iraqi people to fend for themselves which will certainly push them into civil war. No matter what Bush does at this point, it is a no win for him or Iraq. |

Apparently there is more to be done there.. believe it or not, our President knows what he's doing and he's trying his best to prevent another 9-11 attack. People don't know what's going on, they aren't the President.. lol but yet they continue to ACT as if they have an inside track as to what the deal is when they don't know, can't know unless they are a member of the CIA or something..sheesh. |
