Hunting is NOT bad. Particularly deer hunting in my opinion. I grew up in an area where auto accidents caused by deer were extremely common - the deer were just EVERYWHERE. There are no more natural predetors around to cull the deer population, so hunting really helps to keep the population from getting TOTALLY out of control. Plus, there were several programs in the area that took donations of deer hunters killed, butchered them properly, and then donated the meat to homeless shelters and other causes. |

it's not just think what happens when you go to mcdonalds you are paying someone else to kill a cow for you.
death happens and at least we can get somthing from it like meat without chemicals.
pluss mcdonalds is wipeing out rainforest in south america because the meat is cheeper instead of using american cattle that is raised on exsisting grassland.
people should know where there meat comes from before they say someone is bad for hunting. they need to look more at what they are doing to save the planet because hunting is a good way to help keep areas for animals to live hunter fees pay for habbitat and reserch to learn more about the animals and through hunting we learn more about cronic wasting dissease (mad cow dissease for deer yes they have it now) and help stop the spread. |

hunting is bad because it is popular.
for example. if whaling wasn't popular,we would have more whales!
of course, you wouldn't give a crap about whales but i live in hawaii.
whales are very awesome to look at. |

It's not. For example, if we outlawed deer hunting...do you realize how fast they would reproduce? You would have more car accidents involving people hitting deer and more farmers getting thier crops eaten by deer. It's a form of population control. |

hunting isnt always bad, but to tell you the truth, i am against it. let the people who are paid to do that job do it. most people do it for fun. but i dont see how shooting a lillte innocent animal then skinning it and using the skin as a rug and then hanging the head on the wall is fun. but, thats just my opinion. |

If we needed to so we could eat, then it's ok. But use ALL of your kill. Otherwise, seeing that we can go to the store and buy anything we need there, it's pretty dumb.
Animals are dwindling into nothing. I mean, when a wild cougar has to find something to eat it's damn self, in peoples back yards...what does that tell you? C'mon. We need to live and let live.
Come Armageddon though...I'm going to be the first one out there shootin' me some deer. |

I've never thought hunting was bad, unless you're just doing it to kill for fun. I think that people who kill their own food actually have more respect for the cycle of life than those who subconsiously think that meat comes from the store. |

Hunting is not bad. There are many people out there that want to make you think it's bad, but these people are uninformed on the subject. As a note, I am only speaking on behalf of ethical hunter who believe in such philosphies as: one shot one kill, fair chase, and population management. hunting isnt bad. hunting illegally is though. like poaching is bad but not hunting when you have a license and tag and are hunting in the right area under the right conditions. some people believe its cruelty to animals but other animals die much more painful and cruel deaths from other things. |
