Sometimes when someone ask this they have three things that are not working. One they are not setting clear boundary's, two they are not asking for what they need, and three they are not allowing appreciation in. They are often very good people, they look out for others but leave them selves out of the community that they look out for. Or maybe they need better quality friends :) |

I swear this is soooo true! I have been going through a series of personal growth and development seminars with a friend. While we are trying to achieve "greatness" within ourselves, it seems the world is working overtime to shut us down. I believe it is because our inner selves are trying to disprove us, if you know what I mean. For so long we've told ourselves we are mediocre at best that our brains/souls, whatever, are trying to keep us there. It feels like the harder we try, the more curves are thrown at us. I think it all comes down to (if you will) God vs. Satan, to sum it up. Eventually, Good will win over Evil, simply put. Keep up the good fight!
