Lady Death | Why would I need a Lawyer if I am telling the truth? |
Additional Details I was just wondering if a Judge would think of me as a "smart ***" (as everyone else does) because I chose to speak up for myself..

To finish Patz statement "and lawyers have a way with judges..." Just make sure he doesn't have his way with YOU ! lol
Because in the eyes of the law, "truth" is subjective, and depending on the view, may be construed as an illeagal action.
I understand where you are coming from, but in a court of law, eesh, a good lawyer can talk YOUR INNOCENT TRUTH into a premeditated action.. They (lawyers) truely are the slickest bunch (and I know quite a few), when it comes to using words to manipulate the facts/truths...
As my Ex b/f <lawyer> used to say... "I don't lie, I make the truth work FOR ME !" |

unless you are supremely confident in your ability to defend yourself, and you are fluent in legalese, get a lawyer. you may be telling the truth, but that is not the issue: the issue is whether the judge thinks you're telling the truth. and lawyers have a way with judges... |

good question, u need a lawyer cuz even if u r telling the truth other people might not be and besides u need to know ur rights. |

It might be prudent. You didn't say what the case was about, but there have been innocent people that went to jail when all they did was tell the truth. |

First, it is your right. A lawyer can advise you not to incriminate yourself, and read into questions if they are leading in that direction. They tend to be great negotiators leading towards incentives for your answers. Let’s say so tell the truth, and someone gets put in jail ... what will happen when they get out ... You may need to enter the protection program because you may fear retribution. |

I'm sorry to say but, you need to prove your innocents in a court of law. It is called disclosure. I think it is bs but think about the past when people have lied and we believed them. You must prove. |

To keep your **** out of jail. Just because you know you are telling the truth doesnt mean it doesnt have to be proven to others. |

Because a liar is an evil that feeds off unprotected truth. Truth is rarely something anyone can hear when it's under attack & hidden in the liars lifetime game of destruction.
It is very sad how much money & time is spent protecting everything we value in life. I wish you well |
