Define "human food". Ants are omnivourous and can eat any foodstuff on Earth including meat, carbohydrates, plants and so on. Since humans eat all these, they are competing for our food which is why we consider them pests in our larders and kitchens. |

Unless human food due to the amount of alterations done to them and chemicals added to them have a long term effect on them - which is pretty doubtful, the answer would be no.
Ants can eat just about anything that they can get their mandibles around and into. |

If what they consume is processed, white flour, white sugar, they will experience vitamin deficiences like we do, and if they get to eat vegetables, fruits, wholesome grains, their health will be better for it. |
