i don't think war ever gonna stop and its good enough that world war 3 isn't even starting but nvr the least, it is inevitable... wars will nvr stop when the person who started the war is still in the command like george bush for example!!! |

No, this is against the human nature. The human nature is selfish, impulsive and violent. First the human nature must be change but I doubt this will ever happen. Only when we will finish destroing the earth and all living creatures, the mankind will have peace, but then will no longer be humans to enjoy it. |

No wars will never stop. One thing in the world that all will fight for is oil. When the oil runs out in the world there maybe a good chance of less wars, until that happens the fighting and invading other countries will continue till there is no one left to fight or they forgot what they were fighting about anyway. |

Well, this is a soldier's perspective. Conflict is caused by irreconcileable differences. Poor people rising up over rich rulers. Religious fanaticism vs those who aren't oppressed by strict religious rule. Ideals are often the most dangerous of fuel for conflict because an ideal is much more difficult to overcome than a mere difference of opinion.
War is a thing of nations. There will always be conflict in the world, that is irreconcileable. However, if there were some way to resolve conflict between nations (not individuals), there would be a way to put a stop to war.
I once took a Philosophy of War class in college. One stated theory was the Democratic Peace Theory. It states that no two democratic nations have ever engaged in war against each other (although democratic nations are at war with other types of nations often). This is unique of democracies. So, according to this theory, if all nations were democratic, there would be no war. It seems rather simplistic and would require serious cultural realignment throughout the world as many nations aren't ready to be democratic. In short, don't expect that theory to be proven in your lifetime. Likewise, and I hate to say it, don't expect war to go away either. |
