advertising, all newspaper make money that way. printing a newspaper costs almost 4 times as much as it sold for but because they have so much space to advertise and their papers go to so many people, they make a clean profit. |

2nd The Free Papers advertise their counterparts, so encurraging people to buy the Daily Mail, Evening Stadard, Sun & Times.
The 3rd. They sell advertisment space from about £500 - £10,000 a time, depending if the advert is across their rang of papers or if it's in the one. |
