Yes, hon! I got 4 kids well plus my husband- I feel that way almost daily! It is a 24 hour a day job for sure 365 days a year! If we were paid-- How much would that total-- a cook, a maid, a nurse, a doctor, a teacher, a preacher- private driver- on and on and on!!!! We would get a million dollars salary! Mom --- the best job we can get!! God will smile at us and say well done girls-- we raised good people! I am going to move to Texas--- we really could pass for sisters!! LOL bye, Amy |

Yes, it does always seem that way; there's always more you can do. Whenever I feel that way, I get out of the house and take a walk or a bike ride; that helps put things in better perspective. |

I have felt that way but that's because the rest of my family are slobs. I moved out and now when I clean it stays clean and when I cook there's food when I get home, it's really quite good. My tip to you have a system get the place organised, that's different from cleaning and it makes cleaning easier. Have a system of storage and assign a place to each thing. Even if it gets messy inthe storage your place still looks clean because there's order. If you have no clue what I'm talking about you can check out Mission Organisation it's a show on HGTV. I've done the organising thing for some of my friends and family and it really works. |

YUP. When you have a family nothing stays clean. My complaint is everyone in my household is adult and no one wants to clean up behind themselves. My solution I QUIT
yup I quit and they started complaining about it. I still quit. The house was clean the next day. Now I don't even have to ask they do it. Especially now that I am unable to do certain things. PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN GIRL. Stand up and shout I QUITTTTTTTTTT but mean it. |

All the time! I clean a room, move onto the next, and by the time I am done, my son has messed everything up again! It really is a never ending cycle (laundry, dishes, toys, books... you name it!) And when things actually get to stay clean, it is only for 3 or 4 hours.... FRUSTRATING! I try to get all the dishes done at night, so I am not faced with a big pile come morning, and my son does a 30 second tidy every hour, so that keeps the toys under control (somewhat)... but it seems to just pile up (I never have time to do much while I am in classes during the week) so it waits till Saturday, and by then it seems overwhelming! Yes, especially here in So. California, where you can dust on Monday and by Tuesday it's dusty again.
Same with vacuuming.
Even MORE so with laundry. Ever do ALL of your laundry so that you have NO dirty clothes at all - what happens but that night when you change clothes --> dirty clothes again! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh! |

I feel like this all the time - and it feels like no-one even cares anyway. And worst of all, when it DOES start to look clean, this makes you paranoid constantly about keeping it this way - and then you get even more stressed out. The life of a woman is a hard one! |
