In California, for awhile, people could tell a judge that somebody was incompetent and the victem might even know what was going on because they were not in court to hear this or even not allowed to speak up in their defense. The person would get control of the victem's estate and just rob the person blind.
If you are single woman with kids in California, you can apply to garnish wages out any guy's earnmings. All she needs is some information, most of which can be taken from the phone book. The government agency says it's the guy's responsibility to know the government is going to do this to them by checking up constantly (even if he is a virgin). |
