A Company hires you promising a Bonus of $15k to $30k, but a year later only pays $6k what do you do?
This happened to me, I was so furious I waited until the bonus hit my paycheck then quit. The pay is $44k per year; I don't have a new job lined up. Thanks AON, would you have done the same?
Considering the way things are going, and that any bonus is great right now, you will wake up soon and realize you have really messed up big time. Still the company should not have dangled such a prize in the first place, but be glad for what you got.

Was the bonus a firm offer or only an estimate of what you might get? What was the basis for the bonus? Maybe the company didn't do as well as expected? Maybe you didn't perform as well as expected.
A bonus is usually tied to performance of some kind. My company calculates it based on several parameters that are known ahead of time so you get an idea of how well things are before the bonus is announced.
There was no mention by you of how well you did, how well you liked your job, what the working conditions were, what you coworkers were like. There is more to any job than just a few thousand dollars in bonus. I think you over reacted and may live to regret it.

Yikes. I'd have been p*ssed too, but I'd never quit a job without a new one lined up. Was the promise in writing? You might have had some recourse, but a company should never make promises like that, especially if productivity and demand affect profit and wages.
