A local Target store refuses to take expired dog food off of their shelf. Who can I report this infraction to?
We have advised them on numerous occassions that some of the food expired before this store was even built and we have been treated quite rudely. We are genuinely concerned that someone's pet could get sick from this food.
I posed this question here before. I got a few good answers to which I followed up and did. The problem is no one cares! I have even contacted my Agriculture Commissioner to no avail. Does anyone know who I can track down to do something about this? |

send an e-mail to the regional office of the "company", also send an e-mail to each of the food manufactures, if you have to send it to the compalints line, or call the 1-800 number |

stop buying at TARGET ! BOYCOTT THEM ! They are FRENCH owned and have several violations.. Not just with their hiring practices, but with their products too..They ignore any complaints..And they don't allow bell ringers at Christmas or anything like it no bake sales no nothing ...No charities at all (it is against their policy) I turned them in for the pet food to the FDA for exactly the same reason ! |

Target Corporate and do you have any local news stations that do 'Problem Solver' or 'Bob on your side' spots?
The type where they take up the issue of an average person and then shame and publicize the business into doing the right thing?
If so, send them an email outlining everything you have tried so far, opening with a statement about how cruel this is for Target to do in light of the recent pet food recalls and poisonings. |

due to major corporations, they have a lot of violations... some handle it better than others I would recommend that you tell your friends, and other pet owners to not shop there... Eventually if enough people don't go profits go down... However large companies only care about the bottom line not what is on the shelves....
It is an unfortunate act but really nothing you can do about it... If you do have to go there put it on the floor and get a 'fresher' one... |
