There are probably more disadvantages than advantages, just knowing the statistics. Although for your side of the debate, I would say that it would be nice to have your children younger, and will be able to join them in many things, be closer to understanding their generational viewpoints, fashion, trends, etc. When your children have your grandchildren, you will be young grandparents able to enjoy your grandchildren, do more things with them, live longer to see them prosper as well. The nice thing is that once your children leave home, you will be still young enough and most likely healthy enough to do more things such as travel, or physical activity.
But what about earning power? Young marriages, if smart, would start at a much earlier age to save for retirement, so that their contributions into a 401K or annuities, or stocks, may meet inflation and their needs to live comfortably by the time they retire. The earlier they are able to buy a house, the more equity they have time to build in a home and could be sitting on a very valuable asset by the time they retire, most likely having paid the loan off. Having goals, making a plan for budgeting towards college education for your children, purchasing a home, saving for retirement and saving for emergencies are just good things to do no matter if you marry early or later in age. |

1) Can have children early. let's say marry at 20, have children before 25. Before the age of 50, they can be more relax because the children will be old enough to take care of themselves.
2) To get a new house early and start younger to learn to be independence from parents. People tends to get more mature after marriage.
3) Single tends to spend a lot. After people get marriage, many people are able to find themselves able to have more saving in the bank.
4) To satisfy self sexual needs. Young single happens to look for ways for satisfy their sexual need, which may be dangerous. Marry early can at least have proper partner to meet their needs.
5) Company can have lesser percentage of turn over of employee. Many marriage people would have to think twice than the single to Q the job.
6) Marry early, early release from the pressure from parent and relatives and even friends. People tend to ask again and again if the single remain single through out the years. |
