dimitriiv | About how much $ does the vice President of a bank make? (A very big bank)? |

Vice President is a fairly common title in a bank. All the customers want to deal with a "Vice President" so the banks make a lot of them.
You have to understand the structure of the particular bank. Over a Vice President may be a Senior VP, an Executive VP a first VP, all sorts of things. Or it may be a very top job.
Lower level vice presidents start at the mid five figure salary.
hope this helps
Good luck |

$35k and up..... Banks are notorious for having big titles and small pay checks. If it's a very large bank I'm sure they have a 100+ V.P.'s. |

In many branch offices, VPs are literally a dime a dozen. |

I once worked as an independent contractor in of Bank of America's corporate buildings and I was amused at the number of vice presidents. The majority of name plates had titles like "Vice President", "Associate Vice President", "Senior Vice President", and "Executive Vice President". Only the Executive VPs had offices with doors; the rest were confined to cubicles. Apparently, vice president is just another word for corporate drone at BofA. The link shows snippets from salary surveys at Bank of America and from what I can gather a VP earns between 58k - 107k annually. |

In the USA, a 2nd Vice President might make $75,000 per year.
An Executive Vice President might make ten times that. |

VP in what department? Is it just for a branch?
If he is the VP of a particular branch then 70 80 k..if it is a VP of something in the whole bank, then 6 figure income |

Your question has an error -- it should be "a vice president" not "the vice president".
Big banks have thousands of vice presidents -- lower levels probably make $125,000 or thereabouts -- higher levels could make upwards of a million $. |

Vice President Titles are reserved in banks for those who have a decent amount of decision making in key proceses of banking. You wont find a teller, most managers, or even the guy who opens the accounts as a "VP". Generally a lower level VP Makes 75-90K a year. Depends on what they do and their experience. Senior or Executive VPscan make twice to three times as much depending on the bank of course. And I speak from experience and my own salary from three banks which are all some of the largest banks in the nation. |
