After receiving poor service at a tesco store i would like to complain to them...?
.....however i have been unable to find the email address for doing so. I dont want complain to a customer service advisor directly as i will probably like the person dealing with me feel mean for complaining. i want to email them while my anger is still fresh. Anyone have contact details?
Additional Details
we had just started to eat our meals in the restaurant when the fire alarm started and we where therefore evacuated for around 10 minutes. when i got back in i asked for a refund as i didnt have the time to sit and eat again. The checkout person then stated that as we had started our meals he could only refund me for 1 dinner due to the amount of food left on our plates!! he made me feel like i was out of order for expecting a refund, and then cheekily asked how much of the drink was left!! little ******!!

my 2nd complaint would be that people were allowed to leave the restaurant and evacuate with open drinks. Surely if someone was to spill a drink this would hamper a safe exit of the premesis?! i thought it was comon sense but what do i know.

Hi Jadi,
I am not an agressive bloke, far from it.
I promote freindlyness amongnst folks.
However. I had a shoddy deal concerning a DVD recorder thing from my nearsest vast Tesco's in Mid-Beds. In that an internal component was beyond it's limits, and packed up.

" Oh dear " says the floor assistant, we will will find you a new one.
"No no", I uttered, I will have to have a word with customer services, as that is likely to have the same problem.

I am not a brave sort of bloke, but am not afraid of having a polite word at the front desk if something is amiss.

In that case I was given a posh one in a box.
Oh, I understand the annoyance and anger if you feel that you have been diddled, but please just put on a smile, keep calm, and say "This is no bloody good !"

Works wonders.

Forget email. It all just logged and maybe a polite reply appears.
Go to the store in question, straight up to customer services, and do not be aggressive. "Good morning, how are you doing ?. Er, this item here ............"

It will work,
All the Best,
Bob

Sir Terry Leahy (CEO), Tesco PLC, New Tesco House, Delamare Rd, Cheshunt, EN8 9SL.
Telephone number:
0800 505555
CEO's email address:
terry.leahy@uk.tesco.com
Customer Service email address:
customer.service@tesco.co.uk

You can try e mailing them but they usually don't bother replying. I'd phone and demand that your problem is sorted. They are good at fobbing you off and you really need to push it with them!
Good luck

I think you'd be better off seeing the store manager of the store concerned. The complaint, wherever you route it, will come back to him/her to deal in anycase.

I don't have any trouble with them not responding. Usually get a standard we have received etc within ten minutes and a full reply the next day. Good luck.

Other respondents have supplied contact details. I would ask however is your complaint based on poor service or discourtesy by an employee, or is it dodgy food products? I know with the latter from experiences with Morrisons, that they are quick to respond if there is the slightest risk of litigation on health and safety issues and will offer a full refund or vouchers. In the case of staff misinfo or discourtesy, they are much more likely to offer a conditional apology but state that they have full confidence in their employees and that this incident was atypical..blah..blah
