Good lord, who is making this stuff up? Hunters don't normally dig for buried things...how badly burned was it, because it couldn't be too pretty if it was all burned up, and since the constitution still allows us to burn flags, I cannot imagine a swat team being involved, nor do I imagine George Bush got all worked up over it, the CIA has more pressing matters to worry about, and I'm thinking that Russians have better things to do with their time. Where in the world did you hear such a story? Was it in the National Inquirer? |

Working as an Surveyor I have found dozens of flags buried in the mud along Alaska's highways. That is what happens to them when displayed from fast moving vehicles without being properly secured. I think your story is BS |

Back when the flag mattered to people, it was a sign of tremendous respect to destroy a flag that had been decommissioned by burning it and burying the ashes.
