I am sure it is a crock....
the only people who support wars are the people who sell guns, bullets, tanks, etc, the rest of us support the soldiers and the innocent civilians, and the basic foundation of giving a better life to oppressed people. IF Starbucks sent a box with actual Starbucks coffee in it to any war torn Nation, you can bet your boots the soldier out in the field would not be the one sitting around drinking it. Sad but true, the top skims the best. The foot soldier gets the rest, as in left overs not sleep....
I don't happen to drink coffee so I really know very little about Starbucks as a brand of coffee but it has enough people willing to spend ther potential pension money on a latte or something of the like rather than spend a buck for just coffee at the office or diner and save the extra money for their future. Thus, in the financial world "The Latte Factor" can make you a millionaire by time you retire..... So they must be very good or have fantastic advertising.....or both..????? |
