I work in a law office where there are three secretaries. I had missed two days of work because of my sick children ( and yes they will always come first) and every time I am gone. She goes through my desk and computer and takes anything that I may be holding for someone and does whatever with it. How can I nicely tell her that she needs to keep her freaking hands off my stuff. I don't mess with her desk when she is gone. Then I guess she was talking smack because I missed because of my kids and she is tired because she you know actually had to do something since I was gone. (This is girl that refuses to answer phone and hardly types she would rather file) Well she has been here for 9 years and I 3 so she thinks she is queen of the world. However, she is not my boss. How can I nicely explain to her to back off me and my desk before I freak out? Last time I said something to her like 6 months ago she spent hour crying in bathroom. HELP! Some advise.
