I have an interview in a walmart in vegas, I just wanna make some extra cash, so what do you guys thnk? The possition open is for overnight stocking, how bad can that be? I like to lift and be on my feet, and I dont mind working hard. What is the average starting pay? Also, I have the interview in 2 days.
Any job is better than no job. Walmart pays as little as they can to start. It does depend on where it is tho. Where I live they sart at 6.55. I have never seen a mentaly handicapped person working at our walmart and even if the do, so what. I used to train those kind of people so they could hold simple jobs. I do hope this is a temporary job for you and not a career decision. Good luck

Everybody's had those sorts of job at one time in their life or another, and some people spend their lives doing those jobs, which is fine too.
I mean someone has to do it, right? If we ALL became rock stars, or book editors, or whatever the human race would starve to death pretty quick without anyone running the stores we rely on every day.
I myself spent five months in a juice factory packing boxes, and i'm studying to become a fashion designer.
So there you have it, work is work, so if that's what you want to do for now, go for it.

Depends on what you want the job for. If its just a part time till you figure out what you REALLY wanna do, I dont see a problem with it. But if its going to be long term you might wanna rethink your decision. The only people I've ever really seen "stocking" at night have been mentally handicapped... food for thought
