I just came from there, and a few $10 clothing signs did catch my eye.
These are junk clothes. Basically one step above a plain t-shirt. wearable, possibly layerable, but definitely not fashionable, durable, or likely to retain their shape. And the colors I saw were gross (in the men's dept)
I used to shop there a lot, since I have never been into designer clothes and wal-marts are all around my area. However, I've since had a friend buying me name-brand clothes at Costco at very cheap prices, which I now wear all the time. I discovered the maxim "Walmart clothes for Walmart people".
Walmart clothes don't fit me. Maybe they'll fit you. They fit my ex-wife, but not my girlfriend. I've learned that certain designers fit certain body types, and my type is long and trim - calvin klein, kenneth cole. I'm lucky I have a friend who can get them below wholesale for me, but even when I lose that, I'll never go back to buying walmart clothes. I've learned the value of good quality and fit. |
