Applying to Starbucks?
I was getting ready to turn in my application to Starbucks, but was wondering whether or not I should include my resume with it.
I know having a resume and cover letter could show more incentive and professionalism, but the thing is, there's very little on my Resume that hasn't been answered on my application, and I know one thing that people have always stressed to me when applying to a job is not to over-abuse the person who has to read this stuff with information.
or am I just looking too deeply into it?
in other words, should I just turn in my Application, or turn in my application with my reusme?

Well, that would depend on the position you're applying for. If you're applying for Regional Manager, then absolutely include your resume. If you're applying for Barista, you probably don't need to include your resume. I don't think I included mine when I applied. The best advice I could give you is:
1) find out who the manager or hiring manager is and find out when they will be working
2) Dress professionally. You don't need to be in a suit, but leave the trucker hat, skater jeans and hoody at home
3) Hand deliver your application to the MANAGER, even if it means waiting in line. Don't hand it to the first person behind the counter. I know from personal experience, they just stick the app in either the inbox or the resume file with all the others and it just gets lost
4) Talk to the manager and try to build rapport with them. Talk to them about the positions they're hiring for
5) If you don't hear from them in about 3 days, follow up with a phone call
6) When you talk to the manager, act like you want to work there, and not just because you need money or your parents are making you get a job. Starbucks wants to hire people who have a passion for coffee

Good luck!

Ive worked at Starbucks and you dont need a resume or cover letter. Just turn in your application. If you were applying for a more professional job, like working in an office, etc, then I would, but not for this.

Yes definantly turn your application in with your resume. This is something you should always do. Just relax when people have to read all of your information if you have more they will usually look at you more closely and it's just starbucks I got my first job there piece of cake!!!!!!!!

I just turned a job app for Starbucks too and was thinking the same thing.

My guess is it's not necessary. All of your previous employers are already on there. Good luck!

Turn it in with a resume attached.

Employers don't like to ask additional questions if they don't have to.

If you include your qualifications there is more for the manager to see and take into consideration.

Remember:

You are not just selling your current skills with coffee, but also your knowledge base from other job expereinces, school, groups and church.

Include the Resume'

Faron,
You always include your resume with every job application. It shows potential employers what your experience and qualifications are for the job.

Starbucks does not have a good history of hiring anyone. So I would be cautious of this. They seem to only want to hire 16 year old kids with no work history.
