I absolutely agree with you. I am paying a fortune for Broadband and tied into an 18 months contract. Tried to ring them last year - 30 minutes in a queue, Indian callcentre, got cut off as I got through and they didn't ring me back. Utter contempt for their customers and I am OUT asap.... Have a star for raising my blood pressure!! |

sadly, people have bad experiences with all organizations, and such a large organization is no exception. Ask to speak to a supervisor and explain - calmly - the situation, and ask them for a plan to resolve your issue - always make sure you get their full name at the start of the conversation, that way they will feel they cannot dump you, and refer to them by name whilst talking. Anger or threats does not work - its just human nature that if you are nasty with them, they will be less helpful to you. |

Yes, they are.
And so are AOL.
My Internet is going slower than a snail. It keeps crashing, I phoned them up countless times, to be put on the phone to someone who really does not care, nor do they know what to suggest/do. |

I agree 100% We didnt have a internet signal or dial tone on home phone,on ringing bt finally getting through after 1 hour they said there was no fault and if they call out it will be 150 quid which we would be liable for if it was an internal fault. It ended up someone had taken the telegraph pole clean out on the main road and we were without service for 10 days!!! Another thing we are changing our number and going ex dir. as, on bt phonebook online it gives a map of your address How bad is that? |

I had a similar problem but I was with Sky. They never did resolve it, and it cost me over £200 in phone calls, put on hold, and dealing with idiots who asked the same questions and ran the same test every single time, ultimately getting nowhere. I changed to BT and have had no probs since, but the bills are a bit high and they wouldn't suspend my account for me while i was in temporary accommodation like NTL once did for me. So I had to pay for broadband i couldnt even use for three months, then they charged me a massive reconection fee when i finally did get another house, even though there was a BT line already in. |

Really? I've been on BT Broadband for a few years and theyve been sound with me. Any probs you just ring Indian call centre and the very polite and friendly staff are very helpful - unlike grumpy UK call centre monkeys.
Maybe try Zen - theyre supposed to be one of the best. |
