No. Most banks wait until the following Tuesday to clear everything from Friday to Monday. Even when it seems they've cleared, they don't. Always make sure you have enouch money in your account. If you come short on so much as one check, you can get into trouble, because the highest checks are always paid first.

Most banks have 5 day weeks so they would only get cleared on Monday morning.

Even for the banks that work on weekends, which are far and few in between, checks will not be cleared except on business days. Consider weekends to not exist when it comes to banks doing business. Mon-Fri if they aren't on holiday.
