Most companies are good but there are a handful that are dishonest.

Mr. Wizard
Very good question: who really knows what lurks in the mindset of a high powered corporate CEO. A very good hunch is they have a hunger to rule and dominate--and who's to say the US of A isn't a golden prize???? You'd be amazed at how their decisions can well topple the U.S. economy if made irresponsibly. And I feel they actually belive they can take all that wealth with them when they die.

Evil? Debatable. Corrupt? I'd have to say yes. Greedy? Oh he%% yes!

They hate unions and have little regard for their common employees: their aim is MONEY!!!

Arbitrage
Not inherently. It's the people in them that might be corrupt. There was a time before corporations and people were still evil back then. The corporation itself is just a way of organizing things.

No. Profit is not a dirty word, and corporations are after profit. However, when corporations violate human rights and safety, they then become evil. Like WAL*MART, for example.

miles18__
corporations are not evil. They are businesses and sometimes businesses do things that are illegal, but that doesn't make all corporations evil.

mrssainsarg
Big ones yes, all of them are out for the bottom line which is money, people are dispensable and only the mighty dollar rules.
