It really depends on your country, your group, and your status in the organization.
If you are only a client of amway, you get the products at a higher or equal price to average market value. However if you are an IBO, you get a discount starting at 3%, working all the way up to 21%.
From my experience with Amway products in Australia, they are of good quality, and the exclusive brand of supplements they sell is the highest quality in the country (even better than Centrum.) |

Yes they are. However if you don't like them they have 100% money back guarantee.
Edit: KTRB if you didn't try it how can you claim it was of poor quality? For those who are customers you pay full retail price, to help the distributer make a profit between wholesale and retail. You also have to use them as directed as some core products are super concentrated. |

From personal experience as a distributor, the products are typically Average. You can't compare them to the cheapest products available because Amway products are much much more expensive. If you are going to compare them to more expensive alternatives then they are average at best.
Note they don't use the name Amway anymore, they use Quixtar and Access Bus Group.

My personal opinion is to stay away from the products and the people because you are supporting Immoral business practices, cultish groups praying on people's "dreams" by taking their money (training cd's, books, seminars and advising them to spend more money on products for themselves then they would normally spend). |

Not even close. A friend was trying to sell that stuff a while back so I took a look at some of it. It was overpriced and seemed to be of poor quality.
Edited to add: when I said I took a look at it, I watched my friend demonstrate them as she cleaned a few things around her house. Nothing she used seem to do a very good job -- certainly not better than any product you could pick up cheaper at any discount store. Smelled funny, too. |
