The recent boom by selective Foreign companies showing interest in every sphere of life ie., Retail Marketing, Information sector,Rural business .. is worth noting.I am not against progressive thinking..but the way it has been done.Take example of Wallmart in Retail market,Pizza Hut in fast food, Kentuky Chicken in fast food,Britania NZ in Dairy sector are making real concern to Isome of age old Indian Businessmen.I agree that we Indians will open eyes only one hits at our back ..and we still believe in Rule by Divide policy.We all well aware of suicides in AP and TN due invasion of imported Bt Cotton and closure of handlooms, .. etc.But this does not matter of concern for Indians working for MNCs for 70 hours a week at peanut salaries as compared to thier counter parts in other part of the world at higher salaries working for 40 hours a week.In one of our friends working at MNC company, they celebrate holiday for America day than for Gandhiji Jayanthi !So Foreign Raj is coming soon |

Its good to have lateral thinking, but sometimes we better stay from it. Foreign investment of course raises the BSE & the NSE figures, but from a Gandhian perspective, this is a kinda self-degradation. But no one is Gandhian now and no one wants to be and in fact its better not to be one espescially when the country is going (or rather booming) at the route now.
If you look at one side of the coin, it shows the limited competitve nature of Indian businessmen or rather their relatively lower quality factor. Just becuase you had some good foreign players, shunning away from the spotlight doesn't hold good for true businessmen. Damn, if he closed his business, then its his own problem that he isn't competent enough to face the music. If we keep on looking at these factors, the country would never step upto the level of other quality foerign counterparts. And our government is wise enough to take the right decision by opening the FDI for retail.
The countrymen working for 2 'man days' per day for not-so-deserving package issue has already been well debated across the country several times. The fathers and forefathers have been working for a salary that is not even worthy to buy a small car. With this set in the mind of the younger generation, they are actually attracted by even 'a somewhat good' salary. To be frank, Indians dont work that hard, you should go and see japanese workplace.
But currently there are much more serious problems like terrorism that the country needs to be worried about than this. |

Well....i dont think it foreign raj....its called global business and marketing...and as foreign companies are coming to india...so are indian companies going to the foreign land....one might say that india is not that much into foreign market but then it is progressing towards it and it will play a major role in the next 15-20 years or even earlier!....so its not really foreign raj..its called business and global and international business. |

Though he sent out Britishers, with the arrial of foreign-inspired Nehru as Prime Minister, we failed to evolve our own policies, suited to our needs and conditions. Even constitution itself a copy book of several countries, missing originality.
