I think only if you really want the item, if not let the other person bid in the last seconds & get it! |
|

end is forever
 |
yes, all the time. And to people who are angry about it: it's totally legit because the auction has not yet ended, so I have every right to bid in the final seconds. |

If you want to win, that's how you have to play it. |

Yeah, only dummies keep bidding throughout the course of the whole auction. It's an auction, not a contest to see who is the most polite. |

I even use timers (lol) though i lost on something the other day, i feel the winning bidder was using some kind of time machine??? |

No i fly in a few bids early as bait to draw out the competition see who's playing.
I then about 2 mins to go put a much higher than expected price that will definantly win. In a frantic 2 mins that extra high bid will elminate the last second bidders & give me a price at worst a bit higher than a good valued price. As not many bids can be thrown in 2 mins.
That's only if I want to win. |

I have to admit that yes, i am. though i am a very ethical person by nature and as a sop to my concience i do not use a sniper program.
Mind you, people who complain about last minute bidders are being very unrealistic! It IS an open auction! The person who bids the most, wins. If you think a sniper win is unfair, it is not. it means that you did not put in a high enough bid to win the item otherwise ebay would have automatically upped your bid.
personally i am rarely annoyed at not winning an item, it is an absolutely huge market place and there will always be another one of the same coming up. |

I would never place a bid earlier than 45 secs prior to the end of the auction. It's a waste of time. Last second bidders have done me out of so many things that I really wanted. "if you can't beat them, join them!" |

Yes!!!!!! |

 |
yes...I snipe ALL the time...I get annoyed at the fools who keep pushing the price up over the course of a week! I'm like...stop bidding stop bidding you fools! If we all bid in the last10 seconds then the item would find it's fair price. It makes me laugh when people try to do it in the last 5 or 3 minutes...that's not going to cut it! |

You're all monumental morons. E-bay love this rather predictable behaviour. You're been drawn into a competitive frenzy and end up paying more than a SECOND HAND item it worth. But if that's what floats your boat ... |
