Which is better out of Bank of America or Wells Fargo? (for checking & savings)
If you do international banking, BofA would be better. I think they have more ATMs too. I personally don't like BofA because I always have to wait in a very long line to transactions.
I do like WAMU for checking because it's free and so are the checks. I used to bank at Wells Fargo but I don't like the fees they have.

I can't speak about Wells Fargo, but BofA is terrible. Won't never touch 'em again. A lot of times the "second tier" smaller banks give better service.

I have heard horror stories about both, and personally I have used Bank of America, and I don't possibly think they could come up with more reasons to charge you money.

My vote is for Wells Fargo 100%. The customer service may not be that great but it's not bad. There checking and savings accounts are not as complicated to understand as BofA. Also with Wells Fargo they do attend to you faster whether you're waiting for a teller or banker. I've always had to wait with BofA.
