"Reserve not met" means the auction is over (you can't bid further), but the highest bid didn't meet the minimum amount that the seller was willing to part with it for, and is therefore not bound to complete the transaction.
In order for you to bid on the item again, the seller would have to re-list it. |

When you are bidding on a reserve item, that means that the person selling the item has a secret price that has to met to win the auction. If the auction in over and the reserve price has not been met, the seller has the option to sell their item to the highest bidder at the highest price they bid. If they choose not to do that, they will probably re-list the item. I would email the seller to see what they want to do. You never know, they may just want to get rid of their item! Good Luck! |

that just means that the seller just had a reserve on the item,lets say it's worth 100.00 and he puts a reserve of 80.00 that means until some one bets 80.00 this wont sell.and it's up to the seller to list it again or not. it's just extra insurance so it cant sell for a dollor. |

the seller set a specific fee for his item to be sold .if is Reserve price lets assume was $100 then a bitter need to meet this price or above that to win this item.. if you bid less then $100 then you will get this reserve not met sentence.. |

The reserve means the seller will take no less than whatever the reserve is set at, so if it hasn't been met then no one will win until it has been met. The seller must decide whether or not to post the listing again. |

No one wins if it's not met... They set a price to be met and it was cheaper than they expected or wanted it to be so they are not selling it and will prob put it on auction again |

If the reserve hasn't been met, then no one wins. Even if there was a "highest" bidder, the reserve price was not reached, so the auction has become void.
The seller can choose if he wants to put it up again or not. He could put it up tomorrow, or he could put it up in 6 months. Whenever he wants. He's not obligated to, though. |
