Umm it really depends on the type of business it is... Also who you are marketing. Additionally how you represent your business, and yourself professionally and socially.
ALL that plays a part. If you have a great idea say... Umm daycare or auto shop, and you are focusing on a broader market than just the "hood" so to speak, your options are endless. Esp. if you invest, and handle your money the right way... |

I don't think black people in the UK are discriminated against. Haven't you read that Equality Bill? If anything white people are discriminated against.
EDIT:
Nettie that's alright I realise many Scottish don't like the English but I've met alot of scots I get on with I know many of you aren't like that. |

I was brought up in Ireland and never heard a word about being a rashest. We were all thought about being racist. When I came to England what racialists was really like. Most of the English were ok but the other countries were terrible about racist.

I think your need to do your home work. Many of the most successful food outlets on your high street are run by black people.
I'm not talking your Tesco's or Asda's but your late night opening food outlets. |

In todays PC society I would say that they could be more successful. |

Ha. What a question. Another lazy worker that wants to have a successful business without the work.
I am so sick of Black people whining about race. Get a life and some education. |

yes, a company owned by a black person definitely could be just as successful as any other company. there are lots of successful black people in the world today. in my opinion, this was a very prejudiced and ignorant question. |

they certainly can be as successful but i would say it would be harder in general but thats what it is. so be sure of what you are trying to do and who you are trying to sell to, and what your image/employees are like. |

If a business is good, it will be successful, makes no difference what colour the owners are.
Apart from chinkys, I don't trust them. |

The sad answer is probably not, but a business started today by a black man should have as good a chance as any, if people have stopped being narrow minded |
