Most companies won't look at your idea unless you have a patent pending application number. Then pitch your idea with your submission so the company understands completely how your invention works. They can im sure you should call the companys that u want to sell your idea to and set up meetings and make sure you have a presentation to help them better understand your idea and then if they like it and want to buy it make sure you have a lawyer present now what you should also do to protect your idea is to type it up put a stamp on it and have the post office cancle the stamp
now that docoument is a legal docoument in the eyes of the law for a little extra security
