Only if they are individuals that work for the company the own shares in, they would be considered insiders and their information has to be made public. Go to their stock page and look up insiders and they will list them all along with how many shares they own. You wouldn't be able to pull up how many shares I own in a stock because that isn't public knowledge. You can found out collectively how many stocks have been sold though. |

I don't understand your question. But if what you mean is: you want to know how many shares another person has at the moment, then the answer is: You cannot get information from a registrar about the shares of a particular shareholder, it is a private information. But if, on the other hand, you want to know the number of shares you can purchase in a company's public offer, then the answer is: It depends on the information contained in the prospectus, if the shares were issued by way of public offer. But if the offer is by way of underwriting, then it will all depend on the discretion of the development finance institution, who uderwrote the company's shares. |
