If my company is a vender in their store (kmart) do they (my company) have access to their (kmarts) security cameras to spy on their employees. I am asking this because sometimes I work in the Kmart stores and I wonder if my boss can watch me with Kmarts security cameras. Just curious.
I'm sure Kmart would work with your employer if your employer suspected you were doing something wrong - and wanted proof.
And Yes - that would be legal.

Yes. They can because you are on their time. In reality they would most like be suspicious of some curious activities by you to go through all of that trouble.

What are you doing that would make you worry? Whether or not they can, (and they can't) it shouldn't make a difference. If you are only doing your job, then there is nothing to worry about.
Correct?

Yes they can watch you, they especially watch the checkers for stealling cash, so if your thinking that nobody is watching you they are.

I believe that if you are accused of stealing something and they try and press charges, they can use any sort of proof, including K-Mart's security cameras. If you are not doing anything wrong, than don't worry about it, but as far as just using K-Mart's security cameras to just watch what you are doing, I highly doubt that K-Mart is going to release their tapes for that purpose.

are you doing something naughty that you don't want your boss or kmart to know about? if the answer is no, then why worry? just do your job and go home.

it is possible that this can happen but if you are uncomfortable i would bring it to their attention.

if you are on Kmart premises, they are NEVER spying. conduct yourself professionally and you have nothing to worry about.
