Quite possibly. Mr. Gates is a smart, smart man - much more innovative than the CEO of Sony. Think about it. In the 80s and early 90s, Sony was a household name. Now you hear Microsoft way more often than you do Sony. Microsoft will win because unlike Sony, Microsoft is not outsourcing a large portion of its labor to developing nations; rather, it is creating jobs within the US, boosting its economy.

Most likely not, both companies have few products in the same field. They both have many products that are in different industries. But Sony could go out of business because they haven't been that innovative and the PS 3 is struggling. Microsoft does have a cash horde that they can afford to go on buying spree swallowing up smaller companies to utilize into their business. But for now both won't be out of business for quite a while.

HAHAHAHAHA! No! Sony makes alot more money than MS ever will. It would be different if Sony relied on MS but in actuality MS relies partly on Sony. Sony could do away with its CPU division and still have enough sales in electronics to maintain a huge profit. MS would suffer at that point because Sony buys a huge allotment of software from MS every year.
