They can 't lower the wage below the minimum wage, and if they have any written agreement with you they must (of course) honor that. Beyond that, yes they can. Still, they really don't like to change it much and typically only cut it if yo messed up or for cutbacks and stuff (I mean you can just go work somewhere else any time you want to and no reason to singly you out unless you messed up).

Yes unless you have a contract, we cut everyone making more than 50K by 5% last year and cut all officers 10% if they didn't like they could quit and if you quit for a cut in pay you can collect unemployment.
