They will probably make life hard for you and make it so you don't want to work there anymore. Why would you want to work under a dipstick anyway ... |

Probably! Don't you think calling the CEO a dipstick was a little out of line and unprofessional?
Might wanna start looking for a new job!
Besides, who wants to work for a co. w/ a dipstick as a CEO?
Then again, WHAT company DOESN'T have a dipstick for a CEO? ha ha.
Good luck! |

Welcome to the free world, honey. Yes, you can be fired for being an idiot. Chances are pretty darn high that if you are stupid enough to do that, they can come up with plenty of other reasons to list as their main cause for letting you go.
Have a nice day, dipstick! ~grins and waves~ |

Why do so many of you encourage this guy. He is probably a screw-up and a dipstick himself and got called on it. Nothing brave here, just stupid. |

That is not the truth, that is an opinion. And yes, you can get fired for that. If I were the CEO, I would definitely fire the person who did that. It shows immaturity and non-professional conduct. |

Yes, unless you are a major shareholder. |

You better have a great reason for calling him that first hand; and even if you do, you could be fired. If working in my company, you would be. Some things are better left unsaid, let alone put in writing. |

Sure they can. They can even fire you for NOT writing that email to the CEO. Now what do you do? |

No, Your are stating your opinions about the CEO...Freedom of speach...If he is a dipstick hopefully he won't be CEO for long. |

Of course you can get fired for doing that...in the corporate world, its not about telling the truth (as you perceive it). |

Let's just imagine, you are the owner or president of a large company, and you turn on your computer one morning and there is a email from some unknown employee in some little department calling you a "dipstick" (whatever that is), how do you think you would feel? Be honest now? Even if he is a "dipstick" (whatever that is) I doubt he would be too impressed with you honesty.. Sounds like an ominous name to me.
I don't imagine you would be too happy. I can't imagine any CEO would be very impressed.. and Yes I do think you would be very much fired.. I doubt you would ever get a job in that field again..
Good Luck. |
