It depends on what time of day you go and who waits on you. I have taken back items under $20 and they have given me a cash refund. I took back a $50 item and they made me take a gift card. I don't like shopping at Wal-Mart, but in the small town I live in, that is about the only place to shop. Good Luck :) |

WOW!..I came to the right question!YES u can Wal-mart has a policy that they can take back just about anything..okay maybe not cds,dvds that have been opened or sometimes things that are out of stock that arent being sold anymore!But other then that you wont get cash back youll get a WAL-MART card back and youll have to spend that..but a goog thing you could do is when u get the card buy something with it and get the recipt(HOLD ON 2 IT THIS TIME)..lol..jk.. and then get ur money back!or also try calling WAL-MART..okay GOD BLESS! MUCH LUV AND RESPECT!..ya digg

No they have stopped that policy now if you do not have a receipt they first make sure it is their product then they may give you a card which you can use to get merchandise but no cash back if their is a difference in the price the difference is still on the card. |

No, they require a receipt to prove the purchase. You may be able to get store credit if the manager is a nice enough guy.
I shopped at Wal-Mart once, and I've been trying to get my self esteem back ever since. :-) |
